Freestyle's Peacharine has a rich peach/nectarine character with an appealing citrus backbone. In the background are hints of sweet fruit, lime zest and indistinct floral notes. They are still exploring the flavour/aroma spectrum of this new varietal, but their mid to late harvest lots are not likely to ever leave the lineup. Peacharine can easily captivate in a single hop beer, but also pairs well with a wide range of both thiol and terpene heavy varietals, like later harvested NZ Cascade. -
