The PCO38 keg system is an inexpensive keg system that utilises quality engineering plastics and efficient injection stretch blow mold processes to manufacture economical kegs and tapping heads for both home brewing and commercial beers.

This particular tapping head kit is designed to be used in conjunction with a 35psi/2.5bar pressure release valve.

This PCO38 tapping head assembly has been designed to suit standard PCO38 bottle necks such as the 8L PET keg.

The PCO38 keg system is a inexpensive keg system that utilises quality engineering plastics and efficient injection stretch blow mould processes to manufacture economical kegs and tapping heads for both home brewing and commercial beers.

This particular tapping head kit comes included with 2.5bar pressure relief valve, liquid and gas ball lock posts and dip tube.

The plastics used in the tapping head can withstand a wide range of chemicals used in the brewing industry and relatively high temperatures (over 100C).

NOTE: The 8L keg shown in the photos is not included.

This silicone elbow is a replacement for the elbow provided in the PCO38 Tapping Head Kit.

Allowing for a 90 degree connection between the barb on the yellow liquid plastic carbonation cap and the 6.3mm OD dip tube provided in the kit.

Please note: All PCO38 kegs do not have a washer/seal/o-ring. It uses a wedge compression sealing much like a Coca-Cola Bottle does.

This bundle combines the four items needed for a standard ball lock set up, including a Duotight 8mm Flow Control Ball Lock Disconnect for fine flow rate control.

Most conventional beer taps are designed with a 10mm diameter nozzle/spout so you can pour pint in just over 10sec.  This type of flow rate is great for high turnover bars and commercial venues but this high flow rate requirement is not not necessary or desirable for all applications.  For compact portable systems, or for home brew draft systems, a slower flow rate is easier to control the flow and further reduces foaming issues due to the low liquid volume stored in the tap body. 

This Nukatap mini is also more ideal for pouring smaller doses.  For example cocktails where 150-250ml of liquid is dispensed is difficult to control with a high flow rate tap.  For portable systems this tap and FC ball lock disconnect assembly is small enough to literally put in your pocket making it ideal for mini keg setups that you want to be portable or that you want to easily fit inside a domestic fridge where space is tight.
