  1. The League "Greenbacker" Pale Ale - All Grain Kit The League
    $75.50

The League "Greenbacker" Pale Ale - All Grain Kit

This recipe was not specifically designed to be consistent with the BJCP style guides, but we believe it is similar to 18B - American Pale Ale.

Our first beer we sold at our shop and it flew out the door. We kinda thought it would, since it's damn tasty. Originally brewed with big load of freshly picked Nelson Sauvin, we believe this kit with hop pellets that are available year round will be equally tasty. Give it a try and see if you agree!

Our kits are fresh! We assemble the ingredients after you place your order. The grain bill will be milled, unless you tell us in your order comments that you prefer it not to be.

The League "Flashback" - American Pale Ale All Grain Kit

This recipe was not specifically designed to be consistent with the BJCP style guides, but we believe it is similar to 18B - American Pale Ale.

This is our take on the beer that is was leading the way for the craft beer revolution as we know it today: The iconic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

We've substituted in local malt and some local hops without changing the great balance and drink-ability this beer is known for - mainly because we believe craft is also about using local!

It doesn't get more local than brewing it yourself, right?

  4. The League "Prophecy" - Pale Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)
    $68.00

The League "Prophecy" - Pale Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)

    1 Review(s)

This recipe would have been designed to be consistent with the 2021 BJCP Style guide, but there isn’t one for an Extra Pale Ale (XPA). Never fear though, Jamie McQuillan from Cell Division designed this recipe drawing on plenty of the good examples he has tried on his beer drinking and brewing journey long before he turned all funky on us!

XPA’s fall loosely under the category of American Pale Ale 18A, but expect an extra pale beer with a stripped back malt backbone allowing the hops to shine. Less bitter than an IPA, but somewhat akin to an IPA with a leaner malt backbone. An easy drinking hoppy summer crusher. Sounds a bit like a NZ Pilsner right? Well, how about a NZ XPA?

Jamie thought this would be the perfect vehicle for an extra special recent delivery of Kohia from Freestyle Hops. Kohia is their latest botanical blend combining Nelson Sauvin and Rakau with dried NZ passionfruit. This all adds up to a delicious, power-charged NZ XPA. It could be the next big thing! Get ahead of the pack and add a Prophecy Pale Ale kit to your shopping cart now.

  5. The League "Fair Dinkum" - Australian Sparkling Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)
    $39.50

The League "Fair Dinkum" - Australian Sparkling Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)

This recipe has been designed to be consistent with the 2021 BJCP Style guide 12B - Australian Sparkling Ale.

Fair Dinkum is an Australian Sparkling Ale designed for The League of Brewers by Jamie McQuillan of Cell Division Brewery.

As a trans-tasman version of the style, this recipe was created using all New Zealand ingredients. Notably, Pacific Jade hops replace the more commonly used Australian grown Pride of Ringwood hop. This beer adheres closely to the style guidelines though, and those familiar with Cooper’s Sparkling Ale (brewed since 1862) shouldn’t be disappointed by this modern interpretation from across the ditch. With an initial sweet, bready impression, it is highly attenuated and dry with a robust balancing bitterness. Fruity esters reminiscent of pomme fruit give way to notes of citrus, which along with high levels of carbonation, add to a crisp refreshing finish.

Our Australian buddies might well try to claim the pavlova as their own, but with this recipe you can claim Fair Dinkum as your own perfect summer quaffer.

  6. The League "Devilicious" - Belgian Golden Strong Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain) The League

The League "Devilicious" - Belgian Golden Strong Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)

    2 Review(s)

This recipe uses some ingredients that are not included and must be sourced locally - demerara sugar. See the recipe for details.

This recipe has been designed to be consistent with the 2015 BJCP Style guide 25C - Belgian Golden Strong Ale

Devilicious is a Belgian Golden Strong Ale recipe designed for The League of Brewers by Jamie McQuillan of Cell Division Brewery. The Trappist monks might well have been naughty devils coming up with such a spectacularly easy drinking beer for the abv, but we’re not complaining. Typical of the style, this recipe is built upon Pilsner malt, but also includes a touch of chit malt to encourage head formation, with the added bonus of improving your mash efficiency. But don’t blame us if the latter part works extra well!

  7. The League "Pieter Pieter" - Belgian Pale Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)
    $51.00

The League "Pieter Pieter" - Belgian Pale Ale Recipe Kit (All Grain)

    1 Review(s)

Pieter Pieter is a Belgian Pale Ale recipe designed for The League of Brewers by Jamie McQuillan of Cell Division Brewery. This beer is intended to be an easy drinking soft and fruity Belgian ale. It sits firmly on the paler end of the style spectrum, with bready notes, restrained caramel, balanced bittering and a respectable abv of 5.5%. Lovely East Kent Goldings hops play a supporting role with earthy, spicy and floral notes while the Belgian abbey ale yeast lends soft approachable fruity esters and low phenolics along with excellent clarity in the finished beer.

    $98.40

CLONE WARS: Fork Brewcorp "Hyperlocal" NZ Pale Ale Clone Wars Kit (All Grain) 23l

Brew your own version of Fork & Brewer's award winning NZ Pale Ale "Hyperlocal". Dominated by industry favourites, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin, with a little something extra thrown in to bring the hops together. Classic Sauvignon gooseberry and a little ribe-like blackcurrant. Sweet malt that hints at fragrant bush-honey, a solid minerality and a light citrus zing on the back palate.

This beer is insanely delicous and a must try if you love hoppy New Zealand Pale Ales.

This is the official recipe from "Brew Jesus" Kelly Ryan, head brewer at Fork & Brewer.
