No home brewery is complete without a durable 5L jug. This is the only size jug we stock which holds 5L. It has a sturdy handle and has a graded scale on the side to allow you to measure out different volumes of liquid.

A convenient tool for retrieving a sample of liquid from a carbouy or fermenter. Has a stop valve at the bottom which opens when pushed against the bottom of the vessel, allowing the Sampler to fill with the fermenting liquid. This can then be transferred to another container for testing fermentation progress and/or tasting.

A glass thermometer that is 295mm long, suitable for measuring temperatures in the range of -10C to 110C. Compatible with the black thermometer bung (sold separately) so it can be mounted in the neck of a glass vessel with a suitable sized neck.

A high ester-producing strain conferring fresh, floral esters, especially when fermented cool. This yeast has high alcohol tolerance and ferments well over a wide temperature range. Suitable for all styles of Mead.

A sugar refractometer for measuring the density of your beer or wine.

Many brewers prefer to use this instead of a hydrometer because they find it quicker and easier to get an accurate reading. A refractometer will allow you to take instant gravity measurements during mash run-off or during the boil. It works like a hydrometer except you only need a few drops and there is no need to cool a trial jar of liquid before taking a reading.

A dial-type thermometer that is made for the SS Brewtech Brewmaster Kettles, although it could be used in any 1.5" tri-clamp situation.
