Thanks to the good folk at NZ Hops, we've got our hands on some NZH-109!
NZH-109 is a triploid selection crossed in 2015 through NZ Hop's partnership programme with Plant & Food Research. It is derived from a cross of a New Zealand bred tetraploid mother diploid male, with an ancestry of Comet, Slovenian wild type, Saazer, Fuggle & Late Cluster. It is a medium to late maturing selection, with a moderate yield potential and was fast tracked into advanced trials based on its outstanding flavour and aroma in pilot brewing trials.
