The League "Nick Danger" - American Porter Partial Extract Kit 23l
This recipe is closely inspired by Denny Conn's famous porter recipe. Using all New Zealand malt, the hops are Tettnang and a bit of US Cascade (it's an American porter after all). The result is dark chocolate and coffee flavours balanced by caramel leading to a full body - the perfect brew for a cool evening.
Target ABV: 6.3%

Mussel Inn Captain Cooker - Manuka Beer - Partial Extract Clone Kit 23l
Here's our take on the famous Captain Cooker by the Mussel Inn in Golden Bay. This unique New Zealand classic uses fresh Manuka sprouts (not supplied in this kit, you need to collect them yourself). Like the original recipe this is a lager ferment, so good temperature control is recommended.

The League "Mad Sweeney" - Irish Red Ale Partial Extract Kit 23l
Our take on an Irish red ale. A mix of pale malt and wonderfully fresh Gladfield specialty malts, combined with Goldings Hops and fermented with an English ale yeast results in malty complexity with a touch of fruity esters and a classic English hop flavour.
A beer made to drink by the pint.

The League "Flashback" - American Pale Ale Extract Kit 23l
This is our take on the beer that is was leading the way for the craft beer revolution as we know it today: The iconic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
We've substituted in local malt and some local hops without changing the great balance and drink-ability this beer is known for - mainly because we believe craft is also about using local!
It doesn't get more local than brewing it yourself, right?ABV: 5.4%

The League Brewery is the smallest craft brewery in the top of the South. Operating from the League of Brewers' home-brew shop, we make batches of beer of either 60L or 120L, using a Braumeister brew system and SS Brewtech fermenters and glycol systems. Our brew-team has over 50 years of combined brewing experience, and relish in being able to experiment with a wide range of ingredients and equipment that are readily available to home-brewers.
All of our recipes are made freely available as recipe kits via League of Brewers, and you can buy our beer through the webshop too.
