  1. The League "Little Red Rooster" - Session Red IPA All Grain Kit 23l
    $68.50

The League "Little Red Rooster" - Session Red IPA All Grain Kit 23l

This recipe was not specifically designed to be consistent with the BJCP style guides, but we believe it is similar to 19A - American Amber Ale.

We truly love our Red Rooster Red IPA. This is a it's little brother - a newly formulated recipe featuring Columbus, Amarillo, Centennial & Citra hops and still deliciously malty using fresh Gladfield malt like only a red IPA can provide. However, this is only 4.8% ABV - without compromising body or flavour.

    ABV: 4.8%

Our kits are fresh! We assemble the ingredients after you place your order. The grain bill will be milled, unless you tell us in your order comments that you prefer it not to be.

This recipe has been designed to use acid malt to reach the target mash pH. If you wish to use the recommended mineral additions to achieve the intended flavour profile, these are to be added to the boil only. This kit does not include the minerals, but these can be purchased separately.

  2. The League "Cloud Animals" - White IPA Recipe Kit (All Grain)
    $65.00

The League "Cloud Animals" - White IPA Recipe Kit (All Grain)

This recipe uses some ingredients that are not included and must be sourced locally - coriander seeds and orange zest. See the recipe for details.

This recipe has been designed to be consistent with the 2021 BJCP Style guide 21B - Specialty IPA: White IPA.

Cloud Animals is a recipe created for The League of Brewers by Jamie McQuillan of Cell Division Brewery.

A white IPA is a very recent style. They were first conceived in 2010 as a collaboration between American Larry Sidor of Deschutes Brewery, Oregon, and Belgian-born Steven Pauwels of Boulevard Brewing. Their efforts to meld elements of both an IPA and Belgian wit gained enough popularity to quickly develop into a new beer style.

True to style, Cloud Animals offers a fruity, spicy, lighter and more refreshing version of an American IPA with a soft cushioning body and cloudy appearance. Lightly spiced with coriander and orange peel and providing characteristic Belgian wit esters, this beer has a refreshing level of bitterness with a moderately dry finish. It’s not hard to imagine why something this deliciously drinkable quickly gained popularity. It delivers the best that IPAs and wit beers have to offer all wrapped up in one tasty package. Cheers!
