What is a Distilling Parrot?
A distillers parrot is a piece of kit that allows you to take alcohol gravity measurements using an Alcometer continuously throughout your pot or reflux run. It should be placed inline of your distillation outlet so that the drops of distillate fall directly into the tallest collection cone. But only placed in-line AFTER you collect your foreshots. -

It features premium ceramic carbon filtration that purifies the water component of your spirit, effectively removing bacteria and cysts (such as E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium).
Works with the Essencia filtration system. -

The Pure Distilling Alembic Dome is made from 99.7% copper and increases copper contact in the distilling process, capturing more sulphites and resulting in a higher quality product. The dome fits on top of your boilder and is used in place of the boiler lid.
The dome is designed for use with the Pot Condenser (sold separately).
