Simply place the bag on the floor, place the base of the Grainfather inside of the bag and roll the bag up over the Grainfather. The excess material rolls and then clips together for a tight seal, keeping the Grainfather clean and safe until your next brew. -

With the Grainfather Sparge Water Heater 40L, brewers can heat and keep up to 40L of sparge water at a specified temperature until it's needed. This means they can focus on the rest of their brew day, without having to worry about how or when they're going to heat large volume of sparge water, and avoid the need to use 2 (or more) smaller volume heaters.
The unit heats up to 40L (10.6 US Gal) of sparge water in approx. 50 minutes, so brewers simply start heating during the mash, and they can forget about it until it's time to sparge.

Grainfather wanted to provide an accessory that brings the G30 more in line with the G40 and G70 which already include similar plates. These grain plates with rolled edges make the assembly and cleaning of the G30 a super sleek experience.
Includes 2 plates - 1 x G30 Rolled Top Plate (with handles), 1 x G30 Rolled Bottom Plate
Please note - the G30 will continue to be sold with the original grain plates and silicone seals, and the new Rolled Plates will be sold as an upgrade accessory only.

This is a replacement bottom/top grain plate for the G40 model, or bottom plate (only) for the G70(V2) model.
Can be used as an additional top plate to make brewing higher ABV beers easier by keeping large amounts of grain in the basket.
This also increases efficiency (level bed) during sparging. -

A 15 amp cable provides a huge power boost when compared to the 10 amp power cable that comes as standard with the G40 and G70, meaning shorter heating times and a more vigorous boil.
Please note, as 10 amp is the standard domestic amperage in New Zealand, the 15 amp cable requires additional outlet and may require work done on the powerboard.
